Vivo V11 Pro Review

In terms of design, the V11 Pro is far ahead of flagship devices also. It has waterdrop notch, none of the flagships has it and the in display fingerprint sensor. Flagship phones like Vivo Nex and Oppo Find X only have in display fingerprint sensor which has the flagship pricing too. But as far as the performance is concerned the Vivo V11 pro is not so good with snapdragon 660. For gaming, it is coupled with Adreno 512 GPU, 6 Gb of Ram.

It’s not like the processor is not so good but the optimization is not well. The Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1runs on Snapdragon 636 but the optimization is so well that it loads and runs PUBG smoother than Vivo V11 Pro. We can say it is a mid-range device trying to be a flagship.

Camera performance

The Dual cameras in the back perform really well and the options that you get are a lot. The Dual pixel technology helps in faster autofocus. Image quality in low light is really well and sustains details. The f/1.8 aperture in the primary camera shows the results with its image quality. Bokeh effect works perfectly fine under different lighting conditions. In the front, the selfie camera focuses very well and the beauty option gives you the AI results. No complaints about the camera.

In terms of Network reception, there are few issues as the antennas used are pretty old. Overall its a good phone focusing more on design. The waterdrop notch on the top makes it totally bezel-less. The screen to body ratio of 91.27% is more than even the Vivo NEX. About the bezels, there is no fingerprint space as the sensor is embedded inside the display. The V11 Pro is the cheapest phone with the in display fingerprint sensor.

All in all a great phone focusing more on beauty rather performance. The Ram management and CPU performance are not properly optimized but we hope this will be fixed with the software update. If you are looking for a performance oriented device then Poco F1 or Honor Play stand a better chance than this. What do you think about the V11 Pro and in display fingerprint scanner?
